All Saints’ Episcopal Church
Come as a Guest, Leave as a Friend

Caring for Others

The church is called to be in relationship with the world, reaching out especially to the poor, the hungry, the vulnerable, the needy, and the oppressed--"the least of these." All Saints' is filled with remarkably compassionate people. On this page you will discover more about the ways in which our parish serves others through both pastoral care and Christian outreach.

Parish nursing is a part of our health ministry group. The group visits homes, hospitals, and nursing homes, assisting members of the congregation with health concerns and conducting a “blood pressure Sunday” program. All Saints’ participates in the Spiritual Health Partnership, a program involving McKee Hospital and parishes in the Loveland Community.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry trains  and organizes laypersons for caring ministry in and around the congregation. It provides congregations with the structure, training, and resources to set up and administer a complete system for lay caring ministry in the congregation. In Stephen Ministry congregations, lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, unemployed, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life challenge. Stephen Ministry helps clergy and congregations provide quality caring ministry for as long as people need it. All Saints' has several Stephen Ministers who provide regular care and visitation.

The preceding description, along with a wealth of other information, can be found on the organization's official website. To access Stephen Ministry on the Internet, click the image below.

All Saints’ has a very active Prayer Chain that regularly prays for the needs of parishioners and members, friends and families, churches and leaders. To be added to our prayer chain, use the form below.

IHN

Food and Meal Provision

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) is a non-profit agency that provides shelter, hot meals, and comprehensive counseling and mentoring for resilient families who struggle to find a home. Through their involvement in IHN, congregations and volunteers become catalysts for change in their community and gain a new awareness of homelessness in their own backyard.  Up to 5 families are invited to spend one week with a congregation. The families receive meals and shelter as well as transportation to schools, jobs, etc. All Saints’ hosts homeless families in the area every 12 to 13 weeks.

All Saints’ regularly provides food and meals to needy families. During both Thanksgiving and Christmas, the parish assembles substantial food baskets and delivers them to residents in need. In addition, All Saints’ has a continually stocked food pantry available. The parish also serves meals to homeless adults, youth, and children on the first Saturday of every month in conjunction with Loveland's Community Kitchen. Finally, All Saints' supports other local organizations that provide food and other essentials for needy persons, including the House of Neighborly Services and Denver's St. Francis Center.
