At the heart of the Anglican tradition is worship. In other words, the corporate worship of God, according to Episcopalians, is more important than anything else we do in the church.
All Saints’ celebrates two services on Sunday mornings. The first (8:00 A.M.) is more traditional, using an older style of language and worshipping without music. The other service (10:15 A.M.) is more contemporary. Here, we use modern words in our liturgy, sing hymns, and hear an anthem sung by the choir. The Book of Common Prayer refers to these two services as Rite I and Rite II, respectively. Both are extremely moving, depending on your personal liturgical tastes. We also hold Holy Eucharist on Wednesday (9:00 A.M.) and Thursday (7:00 A.M) mornings.
