Adult Faith Formation

There is a common saying among Episcopalians that praying shapes believing. In other words, how we worship forms our faith. That means our services are at the center of how we deepen and strengthen our understanding of God’s call to us. Growing from this center point, we aim to be a community of learners (and teachers). Through seasonal offerings on Sunday mornings, occasional forums connecting our faith with current events, Soup Lunches or Suppers, and various book study offerings, there is a place for everyone to learn and grow. For those who want to go deeper, we also have Education for Ministry (EfM), a four year program of study produced by the School of Theology at Sewanee. Those interested in exploring spiritual practices might engage with our Labyrinth ministry or Contemplative Prayer group.
